Biography

Akira Furui received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan, in 2016, 2018, and 2019, respectively. He was a Research Fellow with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, from 2018 to 2019. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University. His current research interests include biological signal processing, machine learning, deep learning, probabilistic models, and human-machine interface.
