Biography

Akira Furui received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan, in 2016, 2018, and 2019, respectively. He was a Research Fellow with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, from 2018 to 2019. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University. His current research interests include biological signal analysis, statistical machine learning, probabilistic models, and human-machine interface.
